Description and Distillery

The Whisky - Big and flavourful with cream & fruit

The Distillery - Located south of the Speyside town of Aberlour at the foot of Benrinnes hill and its water source is from local burns. It was built in 1826 but totally destroyed a couple of years later by a flood. It was rebuilt and like many distilleries in the region has gone through different ownerships. For a number of years it employed triple distillation but it is now back to just double distillation.
