Gan Ainm
As a band, Gan Ainm is as dynamic as it gets. Based in Singapore and
performing for over 6 years, Gan Ainm has had band-members from
Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Belgium, Singapore, China and The
Faroe Islands. Today the band is Paul (Irish) Alex (Scots) Barry and
Neville (both English). Together their music is bursting with energy
and fun with all 4 members being musician-cum-performers-cum-fun
lovers. Their music is a mix of genres and styles but all with a
Celtic personal touch.
The Disclaimers
Performing Scots pop and rock from the last thirty-odd years, The
Disclaimers are such a high-energy act it is hard to believe that
they are only a duo. Highly praised for their vocal harmonies and
energetic performances, Miles (on guitar) and Alex (on possibly the
only electric mandola in Singapore) also add a welcome dose of
humour wherever they play. The Disclaimers cull their songs from
great Scots acts such as Franz Ferdinand, Travis, Del Amitri and, of
course, The Proclaimers.
