Tasting Notes by Charles MacLean

Nose: Little or no nose-feel effect. Mellow and fruity - bruised pear and apple, with orange zest. Perhaps the faintest hint of hardwood shavings. A fresh herbal note (coriander?) behind, also light black pepper.

Taste: An unusual smooth texture - mouthfilling - and a fresh sweetness followed by light tannie dryness. No water needed.

Finish: Short.

Satisfying blended. Fresh yet complex - appropriate as aperitif. Reminicent of orchards and rural scents, could be mistaken for Lowland malt.
